All of these foods are gut-friendly (at least to my own gut), and generally healthy overall. Our gut health is deeply tied to the health of our whole bodies. Most of these foods are good for preventing heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, acceptable for many allergy sufferers, help with weight loss, make your stomach happy, help with migraines, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.
Currently, these foods are the only foods I eat because I am in the process of healing from years of digestive troubles.
Vinegar (especially raw apple cider vinegar)
Fish (especially cold water fish that are high in omega 3 fatty acids)
Organic, cage free chicken, turkey
Grass fed beef, lamb, pork
Organic, pasture-raised eggs
Organic, grass-fed butter
Pure maple syrup
90-100% cocoa dark chocolate
